  Although there are many symbols in the original Vanitas style paintings I could have incorporated into the photographs I chose to only use Janet’s belongings as I didn’t want any distractions.
• Although after my first shoot using a plinth to display these items I did deicide to use was an oak table which I thought looked was more appropriate to the styal.
